The Prince’s Foundation is an educational charity established by HRH The Prince of Wales, supporting sustainable, community-led development.
They’re currently involved in projects ranging from redesigning children’s hospitals and building satellite towns, to teaching urban planning.

They wanted to enhance their communication about their work on one of these key community projects aimed at empowering communities who want to influence housing in their area. to take it to an even wider audience.

We worked on producing videos to showcase the project – known as BIMBY (Beauty in my Backyard)


These had to  been filmed at existing events – this means being fully prepared, working around the event timetable, grabbing vox-pops where we can and blending into the background when HRH The Prince of Wales is meeting guests!


 

Pre-Filming Planning

Before we even get to the filming, we have to plan, plan, plan! Who we need to interview, where they’re going to be and when, what we’re going to ask them, what other shots are required and the logistics of capturing all of this.

 

At-Event Filming

On the day of the event, we jump straight into action – setting up before guests arrive, checking equipment, prepping for and filming interviews – making sure all the key points are covered in those interviews, recording cutaway shots, grabbing a quick cup of tea and then packing up.

 

Logo Animation and Editing

We created an immediate impact with an animated version of their logo to start each video. Then we worked our magic on the hours of footage captured at the event – choosing shots, finalising messages, editing interviews into digestible chunks and making sure it all looks cohesive, communicates effectively and is on brand.
